we are heading to bangkok tomorrow. we need to go to the book fair. i’m not really excited because we are only traveling by car. that’s 7 hours of tush-torture. he he.
allan and i went to the new house at around 9pm. things are looking better.
the bedding and comforters had been put on the bed, the living room now looks like a living room, the kitchen is halfway finished, the guest room just needs a few finishing touches. the back breaking work is in the 3rd room which also doubles as allan’s music room. he’s been storing all the knick knacks there that we will let the housekeeper handle. it would have been much convenient if we did not have to go to bangkok, then we can use that time to haul some more things from the old crib to the new one. monday is our target date and we will be hiring a pick-up truck to move the bigger things like the fridge, washing machine, and tables.
allan and i can’t wait to move in. the house is really puurrty and cozy.

i so love the kitchen. unfortunately, i forgot to take a photo kanina so i only have the before.
oh, i just remembered. we have not told our friends that we are moving out in a few days. allan and i plan to surprise them when we hold a party next week. naturally, our house [the one we are still staying at] is a mess what with the moving and packing. last night, our friends conveniently decided to drop by without even calling. que horror! he he. allan had to make up a lame excuse that our maid did not show up, hence the mess.
songkran is only a few weeks away! that’s four days of not going to work.
