lazy saturday

In life in general, love-filled life on April 12, 2008 at 6:10 am

this is the first free saturday we’ve had in months!  we work from tuesday to sunday so we don’t have the luxury of enjoying saturdays save for a few times when it is a national holiday.

it’s songkran tomorrow.  for those of you who do not know what songkran is, try wiki. he he kidding.  songkran is the thai new year and everybody have loads and loads of fun, locals and foreigners alike.  it is that time of the year that people throw water to one another, all in good fun.  this goes on for 3 days.  a lot of water, a lot of booze and a great way to meet new friends.

allan and i woke up at 11am and just enjoyed the free time that we have today.  i spent most of my time watching videos from youtube and allan is with his electic guitar.  we have no plans of going out except later when we go to church.

i’m beginning to gain new friends in the blog world and it is really exciting.  i missed this.

thanks to new friends and thank you for dropping by my blog.  i miss my other blog friends but i dont know where they are now.  must have gotten tired of blogging.

so, my new beginning has begun.

hoorah!

great news!!!

we did not go to bangkok (doing cartwheels, jumping up and down, has gone crazy happy)! instead we spent until 2am merrying with friends and to think it was still a weekday.

i finished class at 7:30 last night. half an hour before my class, allan went in the room and asked me if he should go home to get our car as it seemed like it was about to rain. i told him that we will be fine.

not a minute after my class and just as i rode the motorcycle, droplets of rain came pouring down. now, a sensible person would say, let’s wait here where there are sturdy roof, comfortable sofas, internet connection and much more. but no, i said we’ll brave it since it did not look like it was going to be heavy rains.

an hour late, we arrived home soaking wet. he he he *blush*

but i did enjoy the experience. i can’t remember the last time we played in the rain. i must admit it was a bit romantic. not once did i complain (well i did not really have the right to, it was my stupid idea to go ahead and not let the rain pass) but being out there, under the rain, in late march where humidity and burning heat are everywhere, was a different but quite nice change, imo.

it made me want to write something romantic, something warm, a short story about how love, albeit stupid, can be heavy rain in the height of summer.
